      “延谷14号”是以春谷品种“长农39号”为母本,夏谷兼抗阿特拉津和烯禾啶除草剂 “冀谷24/冀谷31”的后代为父本采用有性杂交方法育成的具有烯禾啶除草剂抗性的谷子品种。该品种2018-2019年参加全国谷子联合鉴定西北中晚熟组试验,两年平均产量5 494.5 kg/hm2,较对照长农35增产19.32%,而且表现出中矮秆、抗倒伏、抗病害、优质等优良性状,是春夏谷融合育种的有益尝试。该品种于2023年通过国家非主要农作物品种登记,登记编号GPD谷子(2023)610027。该研究论述了“延谷14号”的选育过程,该品种的特征特性及其高产栽培技术,为该品种的推广应用提供参考。
英文摘要:
      Herbicide-resistant foxtail millet ‘Yangu 14’ was bred by crossing spring millet ‘Changnong 39’ as the female parent and the herbicide-resistant material ‘Jigu 24/Jigu 31’ as the male parent. It participated in the national joint identification trial of foxtail millet varieties from 2018 to 2019. The results showed that the average yield of ‘Yangu 14’ in the late-mature spring-sowing region of northwest China was 5 494.5 kg/hm2, which was 19.32% higher than that of the control variety ‘Changnong 35’. ‘Yangu 14’ exhibited advantageous characteristics, such as medium dwarf, lodging resistance, disease resistance, and high quality. It is an instructive attempt to integrate the breeding methods of summer-sowing region with spring-sowing region. ‘Yangu 14’ passed the national variety registration in 2023, and the registration number was GPD millet (2023) 610027. The breeding methods, characteristics, and high-yield cultivation techniques of ‘Yangu 14’ were discussed to provide a reference for the popularization and application of this millet variety.
