| In order to enrich grape varieties suitable for two harvest a year cultivation in sunlight greenhouses,meet the market's demand for grape colors, aromas, and flavors,address supply gaps during off peak and peak seasons, and promote the development of the leisure tourism industry, six grape varieties—‘Balado Red’, ‘Yueguang Seedless’, ‘Jumeigui’, ‘Zuijinxiang’, ‘Miguang’, and ‘Jingya’—were selected as experimental materials. The cultivation techniques for two harvest a year production in sunlight greenhouses were studied over two consecutive years.A comprehensive analysis was conducted to evaluate each variety’s adaptability to this system, based on phenological phases, fruit economic traits, yield, and economic performance. The results showed that all six varieties matured early in the first crop. ‘Jumeigui’ also matured early in the second crop, while the other five varieties reached mid season maturity. ‘Miguang’, ‘Jumeigui’, and ‘Balado Red’ exhibited excellent fruit quality, characterized by higher sugar content and sweeter flavor. Among them, ‘Miguang’ and ‘Jumeigui’ also demonstrated outstanding yield and economic benefits, and were popular in the market due to their strong rose fragrance.This study provides a reference for the selection of grape varieties suitable for two harvest a year cultivation in sunlight greenhouses in the Chengde region. |
