This study investigated the role and underlying mechanism of KGMOS in enhancing rice resistance against sheath blight caused by Rhizoctonia solani Kühn (R.solani).The results indicated that KGMOS treatment significantly inhibited the progression of sheath blight disease and fungal colonization in rice, demonstrating an effective biocontrol effect.Further analysis revealed that,compared to the control group,KGMOS treatment significantly increased salicylic acid (SA) levels and upregulated the expression of the SA biosynthesis-related gene OsPAL and the SA receptor gene OsNPR1.These findings suggest that KGMOS enhances rice resistance to sheath blight through the activation of the SA signaling pathway. This study unveils the potential of KGMOS in triggering rice immune responses and its possible signal transduction mechanism, providing a foundation for developing environmentally friendly, KGMOS-based agents. |
